Wilma Wong has coached swimming at the elite levels with swimmers competing at US Nationals, Olympics and Paralympics, and World Championships.
Coach Wong is also a mental performance coach focused on bringing out maximal results through a holistic approach of mind, body, and spirit.
Coach Wong is the Co-Head Coach for the USA team of Athletes Without Limits leading a team of international competitors across 3 continents

Elite competitive swimmer with national-level experience and a deep technical background in the sport. Accolades include NCAA championships, American Records, Top 8 Finish at Olympic Trials, Top 25 World Ranking.
Injury-prevention specialist focused on biomechanics, load management, and long-term athlete health.

Dante Carbajal
Dante Carbajal brings over a decade of experience in aquatics, working with swimmers of all ages and abilities from learn-to-swim and adaptive/special needs instruction to Championship level athletes.
A former competitive swimmer and coach, Dante is passionate about building strong technical foundations while fostering confidence, discipline, and lifelong skills through a positive, fun, and engaging environment for young athletes. In addition to his coaching background, Dante serves as Board Secretary, a role he has previously held with another aquatics organization, providing experience in governance, documentation, and organizational operations.
Professionally, Dante is a Respiratory Care Practitioner, bringing a unique understanding of physiology, breathing mechanics, and athlete health that enhances his holistic approach to coaching and program development.
Ellie Derr
Jr. CoachEllie was a Varsity swimmer at Valencia High School, Honor Student, and dedicated year-round club swimmer since 2021. Ellie has been a member of Quantum Waves since the creation of the club and has competitive experience at Local League Finals, CIF, WAGS, and JAGS.
Ellie is very passionate about developing young swimmers through positive coaching, encouragement, and strong fundamentals. Three summers experience as a Junior Coach with her local HOA swim team, helping children build confidence and improve their skills in the water.
Committed to serving her community through weekly volunteer work in her local church's special needs program. Loves creating a fun, supportive environment where every swimmer feels encouraged to learn, grow, and enjoy the sport.
Ann DeSpain
Jr. CoachAnn DeSpain has been swimming with Quantum Waves for the past six months and was drawn to the team by its coaching style and strong sense of community. She has coached novice teams and is currently teaching private learn-to-swim lessons.
A LA County Lifeguard for the past year and a half, Ann has experience teaching swim lessons both privately and in classes. In her junior year she successfully coached a novice swim team while balancing school and work, and she received the Ripple Effect Award from LA County for her ability to teach and positively influence others. She believes every child learns differently and meets each one where they are.
Ann is passionate about coaching and teaching, Ann aims to create an encouraging, educational environment that builds a lasting love for swimming. She is entering her senior year of high school and plans to pursue a career in education.
